Catechetical Institute: Morality – 4

Recorded October 27th.

In session 4 we began to look directly at the Ten Commandments, which are the skeleton upon which the whole of Christian Morality hangs.

We looked first at the preamble to the Ten Commandments from the Catechism of the Catholic Church:


We then discussed the First Commandment: Believe in the True God, which included a discussion of New Age religion and superstition:

Then we discussed the Second Commandment: Reverence God’s Name, including the Biblical significance of God’s name, and the meaning of Baptismal names:
