Pope Francis recently published Gaudete et Exsultate, in English, “Rejoice and Be Glad”, a new Apostolic Exhortation “on the call to holiness in today’s world”. The title comes from Matthew 5:12, “Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven”, an expression which follows the Beatitudes (Matthew 5:3-10) which are at the heart of this document.
